Quantum House provides a caring place to call home for families while their children are being treated for a serious medical condition. Quantum House relieves the stress and financial hardship that are often added to the trauma of illness. As the only facility of its kind between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando, Quantum House has served families from almost every county in Florida, 35 states and 12 countries.

When a child becomes seriously ill, the whole family suffers, especially if the child must be hospitalized or receive treatment far from home. The simple demands of everyday life can seem overwhelming. Quantum House provides temporary lodging and emotional support during a family crisis. For mothers and fathers to be close to their child’s bedside during the critical decision making moments is most important. Our proximity to the Children’s Hospital and the pediatric units on the campus of St. Mary's Medical Center offers comfort of immediate response to their child’s needs.
