How many family members can stay in a room?

We will allow up to 4 family members including the patient to stay in each room.
How many beds are in each room?

There is either a King bed and a twin or three twin beds in each room. It depends on what room you are assigned to.
Do you keep kosher?

We have a locked kosher pantry with kosher appliances for your use.
Can I cook my own food?

Yes, we encourage it. Our main kitchen has all of the pots, pans and appliances that you will need for your use.
Can I get food delivered?

Yes, many families get food delivered either from the grocery store or restaurants. Our address is Quantum House, 987 45th Street West Palm Beach, FL 33407
Where do I get my mail when I am a guest there?

Your mail should be sent to YOUR NAME, Quantum House, 987 45th Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. If you are not a current guest here, your mail will be sent back “RETURN TO SENDER”
What do I do with my walkers, shower seats, crutches etc. when I check out?

We suggest you call Clinics Can Help to donate it, offer it to another family or take it with you. But you cannot leave it at Quantum House.
Do you have a waiting?

Sometimes. We get referrals up to a year in advance and we fill up quickly. If you find yourself on our waiting list, be patient. as we will notify you as soon as something opens up and it often does.

How do I buy tickets for an event?

You can purchase tickets on our website on the event tab.
Can my company sponsor an event?

Yes! We would love to have your company sponsor an event or contribute to most events by becoming a Community Partner.
Is there a dress code?

Each event has a different attire.

Shamrock Classic: Golf Attire and Cocktail Attire.
Culinary Creations: Cocktail Attire.
Golf and Gobble: Golf Attire.
Sugar Plum Dreams: Holiday Chic.

How large can my volunteer group be?

If you are volunteering inside, your group will be maxed out at 6 people. This is so that the interior of the house isn’t overcrowded for the families who currently call Quantum House home. If you are volunteering outside, your group can be as big as you’d like!
Can I play with the kids when I am there?

Great question! This is up to the current parents and kids in the house. They are usually very excited to meet new people, but sometimes they are tired and just out of the hospital, so every visit is different.
Who supplies the food or crafts if I come to cook or do a craft with the kids?

You do! Not only do you supply the food or craft, but you also set up and clean up after the food is prepared or the craft is complete.
Can I take photos inside Quantum House while I am there?

That depends. You may take photos of anything inside the house as long as there are no kids/families in the pics. We get written permission from families regarding photo releases. Not all families want to be photographed. If you ask us we will let you know.
